Please note that visa application for PRC passport holders must be initiated by a local sponsor. Because the visa application process by visitors holding PRC passports takes up to Four(4) months, we strongly advise them to register and inform COLING Secretariat (e-mail: COLING02@sinica.edu.tw, Fax:+886-2-2783-2808) in the earliest time possible(as soon as the on-line registration system is available on April 11). Please note the following important date:

By May 15:Recommended date for PRC participants' registration(to allow for reasonable visa application time)

May 15: Deadline for PRC participant registration(We will NOT be able to assist with the application formalities after this deadline. Unless your visa is already guaranteed by other sponsors, you may register at the risk of not obtaining entry visa in time.)
