You will need to prepare all equipment needed for your demonstration except for the power supply and Internet connection (if requested). Please check whether your equipment is compatible with Taiwan's power supply (110 Volt/60 Hertz). Since the power sockets used in Taiwan (see below) may be different from that used in your country, please carry the compatible plug adapters.

In order to connect to a RJ45 socket, you also have to bring twisted pair cables. Basically, we will assign one IP address to each demo team that requests Internet connection. If you have additional requirements, please describe them in the Application Form of Demonstrations.

Advertisements for academic and research oriented materials can be inserted in the COLING2002 conference bag for a fee. In principle, each advertiser is allowed one single page A4/Letter-sized flyer. A sample page must be sent to the COLING 2002 organizing committee by July 15 for approval. The flyer will be inserted in the conference bag of all the COLING2002 main conference, tutorial, and workshop participants. The estimated total number of participants is 800, while the guaranteed minimal number is 600. The standard charge for insertion of a one-page flyer is US$300 (or NT$10,000).
